Young, authentic, and fearless in her expression, Eileen Alister is quickly establishing herself as one of the most promising names in the emerging music scene. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Zurich, Switzerland, has been steadily building a loyal following with her honest lyrics and captivating sound.

Eileen first drew attention through collaborations like the house track "Voices" (now surpassing 3 million streams) and "I Want..." with Benjamin Amaru. However, it was the release of her single "Lifetime Lover" in January 2024 that defined her artistic direction and marked a major breakthrough.

“She’s been singing since she could talk,” say those close to Alister. At just 13, she began posting covers online, and her passion for songwriting started even earlier—she wrote her first original song at age eight. A cover of Billie Eilish eventually caught the eye of Ddp, label owner of Physical Shock, who signed her shortly after. In 2023, she began working with producer ZID, and has since been releasing music independently, without label backing.

Often written in the solitude of her childhood bedroom, Eileen’s songs intimately reflect her own experiences and emotions. Since mid-2023, she has also expanded her creative work by writing and co-writing for other artists.

Her debut festival season in 2024 was a milestone. In June, she opened Zurich Openair Festival for Hozier in front of 5,000 people. She also performed at Gurtenfestival, where she not only played the Campfire stage, but also stepped in last-minute for another artist on the larger Waldbühne stage—becoming the only act to play twice that day. Eighteen performances across the summer, including Seaside Spiez, helped her hone her stage presence on both large and intimate stages.
