For as long as he can remember, Finn Wolfhard has been deeply moved by music—both listening and creating. As a child, he fell in love with his parents’ Beatles records, and as he grew, he found inspiration mimicking bands like The Replacements and Guided By Voices. Though he started acting at 10 and rose to fame with Stranger Things and the Ghostbusters reboots, music remained his grounding force.
“Music has always been something I can control,” Wolfhard says. “Acting gave me peace for a long time, but now that it’s my job, it’s different. I still enjoy it, but writing songs and playing guitar alone—it’s a different kind of feeling I’m after.”
