After a string of sell-out performances, TV shows and critical acclaim, Hebburn’s own Jason Cook returns with his most ambitious and uplifting show to date, ‘Nothing But Happy Bits’.
In a world that often feels like it’s leaning into the gloom, Cook is staging an intervention. Known for his lightning-fast wit and devastatingly honest storytelling, Jason has spent the last year on a mission to hunt down the "happy bits" of life—finding joy in the most unexpected, bizarre, and often ridiculously mundane places.

The City Hall has 6 seating areas available for every show for wheelchair users. It is necessary for wheelchair seating to be booked in advance. Please contact the box office on 0191 2496050.
Any customer booking a wheelchair seat will receive comprehensive information on access to the City Hall and it's facilities when booking. Access to the box office is via College Street and is fully accessible. There is no access to the Concert Bar and refreshment area for wheelchair users. Where customers are unable to access these areas due to ambulatory difficulties, a drinks service is provided by the City Hall. Members of staff are available and can take drink orders and arrange for then to be brought to the foyer/auditorium, on request. There is no lift access to the balcony. Accessible toilet available in the foyer.
