Her seven albums with Goldfrapp were fuelled by an unfailing modernity and a sixth sense for sounds that were more timeless than any trend. Established in 1999, Goldfrapp’s debut album was nominated for a Mercury Prize and over their career they produced three number one US dance singles and received multiple Grammy nominations including Best Electronic/Dance Album. The multi-platinum selling band have won prestigious awards including two Ivor Novellos, ASCAP/PRS, Music Week, MTV Europe and Music Producers Guild award. They were also nominated for two BRITs and a Mercury. 2022 saw Alison release her first solo collaboration ‘Impossible’ with Royksopp.
