Ohio born Matt Rife has exploded as one of the fastest growing comedians through his viral content and remarkable engagement on TikTok. Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable.

In addition to stand-up, he made his television debut on MTV’s ’Wild 'N Out’ as the youngest cast member in history. In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed through YouTube his first one-hour comedy special, ‘Only Fans’. Now Rife is back with his latest show ‘Problemattic World Tour’.

Event Information

1. This event is for fans only and these special conditions are in place to ensure that tickets are purchased for personal use only and are not resold for profit and/or through unauthorised resale sites.

2. A strict limit of 8 tickets per person applies. Any tickets purchased over this limit may be cancelled and invalidated.

3. Tickets must not be purchased with the intention of reselling them for commercial purposes and/or profit.

Only genuine mobile tickets will be accepted for entry (we’ll give you full instructions on how to access your mobile tickets after you book). If you purchased more than one ticket and ticket transfer is unavailable, your guests must be with you at time of entry. Print outs and/or screenshots of mobile tickets will not be accepted for entry.

Disabled Access

The City Hall has 6 seating areas available for every show for wheelchair users.  It is necessary for wheelchair seating to be booked in advance.  Please contact the box office on 0191 2612606.

Any customer booking a wheelchair seat will receive comprehensive information on access to the City Hall and it's facilities when booking.  Access to the box office is via College Street and is fully accessible.  There is no access to the Concert Bar and refreshment area for wheelchair users.  Where customers are unable to access these areas due to ambulatory difficulties, a drinks service is provided by the City Hall.  Members of staff are available and can take drink orders and arrange for then to be brought to the foyer/auditorium, on request.  There is no lift access to the balcony.  Accessible toilet available in the foyer.
