Gad Elmaleh is arguably the biggest and most loved comedic star in France.  In 2006, France's Minister of Culture awarded him the “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres” and he was also voted “The Funniest Person in France.” Later that year he sold out shows in Miami, Los Angeles and New York. In 2007, Gad made history when he sold out the prestigious L’Olympia (Paris’ Carnegie Hall) in Paris for seven consecutive weeks, a feat never before achieved. 

Beyond his stand-up, Gad has directed his first and critical film, COCO, which he wrote and starred in, opening at 1 to audiences in France, Belgium and Switzerland, other film credits include French films ‘Priceless’, ‘The Valet’ and ‘The Round Up’ and most recently Gad starred in the Academy Award-winning Woody Allen film “Midnight in Paris,” with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams and  Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s film “The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.” As well as premiering his own Netflix special ‘Huge in France’ a semi-autobiographical story.

Gad released his 2nd film as director “Reste un Peu” in November 2022.
