Originally signed to the Definitive Jux label, American music producer, singer and musician RJD2 released two largely instrumental hip hop albums to critical acclaim in the early noughties. After parting ways with Def Jux he signed with XL Recordings to make his 2007 album, The Third Hand, which is a striking departure from his usual style and features RJD2 singing and playing instruments on nearly every track. Now making a welcome return with a brand new full length album The Colossus.
