Manchester Arena Information

Journey Planner
The Manchester Evening News Arena is located in the City Centre, on the corner of Trinity Way, Hunts Bank and Great Ducie Street, and is adjacent to Victoria Station. For Sat Nav systems our postcode is M3 1AR.

Travel
If travelling by car, the Manchester Evening News Arena is situated on the A56, 3 miles from Junction 17 of the M62.

Parking
The official NCP on-site multi-storey car park has a capacity of 900. In addition, approximately 3,500 recognised NCP spaces within 10 minutes walk serve the Manchester Evening News Arena. Please beware of unauthorised car parks and street parking. We advise anyone with walking difficulties to arrive as early as possible and use the car parks at the Arena, Shudehill or the Printworks.

Public Transport
If you're planning a trip to the MEN Arena - day or night - then you'll find public transport is the best way to travel from all over Greater Manchester, and beyond. The Manchester Evening News Arena is one of the easiest places to get to by public transport; buses, trains and trams drop you only minutes away from the entrance.

Buses: Many buses serve Cannon Street and Victoria bus stations and many more stop within easy walking distance in the city centre. If you're staying out late then Nightbus services on Friday and Saturday nights run directly past the Manchester Evening News Arena. Manchester's free city centre Metroshuttle service also links Victoria station with other areas of the centre. Find out more here

Trams: Manchester's excellent Metrolink systems passes right by the Manchester Evening News Arena, stopping at Victoria. Services run from Bury, Altrincham and Manchester Piccadilly rail station, with connections to Eccles. Work is currently underway to replace all the tram track in Manchester city centre so, at the moment, only services on the Bury line run direct to Victoria. However, two bus links are running to and from the city centre tram stops that are closed during the work, which will last until the Autumn. Find out more here

Trains: Victoria rail station is directly underneath the Manchester Evening News Arena and Piccadilly rail station is only a short Metrolink ride to Victoria Metrolink tram stop.

If you're planning to use public transport System One Travelcards offers a DaySaver which you can use on any combination of bus, train or tram. Click here for more details
