Irish boy band Boyzone were put together in 1993 by Louis Walsh. The band released six #1 UK hit singles and four #1 albums and by the time they parted company in 2000 they had racked up record sales of over 20 million. In a bid to ‘outdo Take That’ the band made a comeback in 2007 and are currently touring and working on a new album.
