The Dandy Warhols formed in Portland, Oregon in 1993, with their name taken as a pun of American pop artist Andy Warhol.

In 1997 the band released "...The Dandy Warhols Come Down", featuring the hit "Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth".

The band rose to international acclaim after releasing the smash "Bohemian Like You" from the album “Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia”.

The Dandy Warhols latest offering “This Machine” is due in April and is mixed by Tchad Blake who worked on the band’s “Odditorium or Warlord of Mars” album and The Black Keys two most recent releases.
