Tegan and Sara caught the attention of Neil Young’s manager Elliot Roberts after, as teenagers, they independently released their debut album ‘Under Feet Like Ours’. Subsequently signed to Roberts’ Vapor Records label, the duo’s major breakthrough came with the 2004 album ‘So Jealous’. Subsequent releases have seen the pair backed by members of Death Cab For Cutie, Weezer, AFI, while they have toured with the likes of Neil Young, Paramore, The Black Keys and The Shins, as well as having their song ‘Walking with a Ghost’ famously covered by The White Stripes. They have also collaborated with superstar DJs including David Guetta and Tiesto.
