Born in Barking, Kris Buckle picked up his first guitar aged 6 and found himself worshiping Chet Atkins, Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. As with so many ‘creative’ types, it was probably the discovery of smoking materials unrelated to tobacco which moved him to discover the attic delights of his Dad’s yesteryear heroes stumbling, doubtless pink-eyed, upon the likes of Buffalo Springfield, Joni Mitchell, John Martyn, The Beach Boys and many others which continue to influence his music today.
