Alela Diane Menig's critically-acclaimed 2006 debut The Pirate's Gospel was heralded Rough Trade’s Album of The Year in 2007. And it was the record that brought the Nevada City, California-reared musician a dedicated following across the globe. Her follow up, To Be Still, was subsequently released on Rough Trade to much praise.
